Upsy Daisy

Hi there!  My card today steps away from the monochromatic funk I usually find myself in and incorporates a mix of bright colours - hooray!! It would work well for either a guy or a girl I reckon.  You can give a guy a card with flowers on it right??  If not, about half of my stamps are ruled out! hehe.

I was given some exciting new things to play with for Christmas, one of which was sponge daubers.  This is actually my first attempt at using them and I'm happy with the results, but there's definitely room for improvement too!

The square was sponged while still sitting in the nestability die to create the soft white border, and then I matted it against the orange cardstock.  I'm a big fan of this paper, it's Washington Apple dsp from Stampin Up! and I think it's a great colour scheme.

So what do you reckon - masculine enough to give to a bloke??
